Limestone-gypsum desulfurization equipment is a core industrial SO₂ removal device, adopting the globally prevalent, mature standard desulfurization process. Using cost-effective, widely available limestone as the main absorbent, it crushes, grinds, and mixes limestone with water to form absorption slurry. In the absorption tower, slurry fully contacts flue gas-SO₂ reacts with calcium carbonate and blown air to form gypsum. Limestone-gypsum desulfurization equipment then releases emissions via chimneys post mist elimination and flue gas heating, while recycling gypsum slurry through dewatering devices.
