An SCR denitrification system uses a catalyst layer to support the reaction between NOx and reducing agent in flue gas. It is used for power boilers, waste heat boilers, glass kilns, cement lines, steel plants, and other projects that need a steady outlet NOx value. The system normally includes reagent preparation, injection grid, mixing section, SCR reactor, catalyst modules, instruments, and control cabinet. Reactor size, duct transition, and guide plates are checked together because uneven gas flow can shorten catalyst life.

1. Leave enough straight duct length before the reactor when the site allows it, because uneven gas flow can make one catalyst area carry more dust.

2. Keep lifting space above or beside the catalyst layer, so modules can be replaced without cutting nearby platform parts.

3. Check whether compressed air, steam, or acoustic cleaning is needed before the SCR denitrification system is sent to site.
